Melissa McCarthy sues Hollywood production company

«The Boss» actress Melissa McCarthy is suing her former employers at Hollywood company Little Rascal Films, claiming she was sexually harassed at work.

The actress, 42, filed the lawsuit on Thursday in federal court in New York, claiming the directors and producers at the company first fired her, then made sexually suggestive comments, and ignored her complaints.

In the lawsuit, McCarthy claims the men put her on a «sex blacklist» that led to her being blacklisted from the industry. The actress was fired in May 2018.

McCarthy reportedly told the BBC it was the most difficult thing she has ever had to deal with.

«I trusted them, which means that I gave away control, and they treated me like shit,» McCarthy told the BBC.

«It’s not a fun process. No one should ever have to go through that.»
