Drawing content

An important feature of AutoCAD is its ability to edit directly the contents of the drawing. This is a distinguishing feature of AutoCAD that makes it different from other CAD software. How to model a Connection in Entity Framework

I have a SQL Server Database that I’m trying to map in Entity Framework.
To model the DB I’ve created a class, in this class I have a field of type Connection and a field of type IPEndPoint, however, I can’t figure out how to model the Connection.


The Entity Framework will generate an entity for you by convention, and you should be able to take your Connection property and use that to generate an entity with the same name. Something like this:

It will most likely be named something like Connection, but you’ll have to look at the generated code to verify. That’s the Entity Framework way of modeling the data. If you need to do it the old-fashioned way, you can’t use a property of type Connection, but you can still generate the entity by manually setting up the associations, and then using the generated entities to set up the foreign keys. But that’s not the Entity Framework way.
